Academic Records
A diploma can be reissued only one time, subject to fees, but transcripts showing degree or certificate completion can be reissued at any time, and mailed anywhere, subject to fees. Official letters of recommendation written by faculty will be automatically retained digitally by our registrar’s office, and can be requested to be sent for free up to five times for each letter within three months of their submission. Retention and submission after this three month period is permitted but may be subject to processing fees. Contact the registrar’s office for availability after this period. This institute is a private research organization funded by the Polaris Foundation, and all policies are subject to review and revision at any time at the discretion of the foundation. Policies:
Tuition is subsidized thanks to the generosity of the Polaris Foundation and is capped at $485 USD per term for students beginning in 2026 (or the equivalent in local currency), regardless of course load taken. A maximum courseload of four simultaneous courses is enforced for each term. Courses are typically taken on an accelerated 10-week schedule, but schedule and faculty availability permitting, a cohort could apply for and be granted a 20-week term with reduced course pace.
After admission, tuition and fees must be remitted in full typically within seven calendar days. There are no refunds for tuition except in the case of extenuating circumstances such as a personal or medical emergency for which documentation can be provided. Any request must be made within seven days of the incident and is subject to administrative review. Foundation decisions are binding and can not not be appealed.
Both student admission and scholarship offers are conditional and revocable based on student aptitude and performance. Failure of two courses within one year can lead to a suspension of up to twelve months, subject to a readmission examination. Academic dishonesty is not tolerated, and the third offence can lead to a suspension of up to twelve months, subject to a readmission examination.
As this is an international institution located outside local jurisdiction and is therefore not subject to the laws of the United States or European Union, this institution can not accept or participate in their respective student loan or bursary programs. Graduate and undergraduate level courses are also not eligible for transfer to outside institutions.
Our programs have limited cohorts, and each student is paired with a guiding faculty. For each term, scheduling permitted, a student will be led by that guiding faculty as the instructor for at least half of their core courses.
Faculty have broad purview to format their classes, but in general, accelerated term courses will require between one and three hours of lecture per week, and between three and nine hours of assignments and practice per week, per course. The courses are asynchronous, but students must adhere to faculty scheduling guidance and all coursework must be submitted when instructed to keep up with the accelerated schedule.
